Skeptics In The Pub

Our regular "Skeptics In the Pub" nights are held on the second Tuesday of the month, usually in the Banshee Labyrinth on Niddry St.

We will present a speaker talking about a subject we hope will educate, enlighten and entertain. The topics will be varied but at their core, they will have an element of scientific skepticism. 

​

We expect the speaker to be able to be able to answer any questions from the audience and hope their talk can promote good, robust but friendly discussions. Often attendees continue the discussion in the bar afterwards. 

​

All our talks are free of charge but we do ask for a donation at the end to help cover any costs. We often have expenses in bringing the speaker to the event but at the very least, we need to feed and water them. Your support is not mandatory but is very welcome. 

​

There is no need to book, but RSVP'ing via Meetup or Facebook helps us judge expected numbers.
