Prof. John Curtice - Is Scotland swinging towards independence?  Recent polling has suggested that there may now be narrow majority in favour of independence - the first time that polls have put Yes ahead. Prof. Curtice will analyse recent trends in attitudes towards how Scotland should be governed, examine why they have occurred, and consider their implications for next year's Scottish Parliament election and beyond. 

About the speaker: Professor Sir John Curtice is Professor of Politics at Strathclyde University and Senior Research Fellow, NatCen/ScotCen Social Research. He has written extensively about political and social attitudes both across the UK as a whole and in Scotland in particular.
