Ockham Awards
11/3/19
The Ockham Awards are the annual awards given out at the QEDCon skeptical conference (although not this year due to the conference having a break in 2019). The gongs are awarded by The Skeptic Magazine UK and are awarded for contributions to the skeptical community and for the promotion of critical thinking and other activism work.
As well as awards for best blog, podcast, and event/campaign there is also an Editor's Choice award for outstanding contributions to the community, as well as the "Rusty Razor" award - given to the worst example of bad science that year. In 2018 the Rusty Razor award was awarded to Goop, for reasons that should be obvious.
Edinburgh Skeptics Society are proud to have won an award, twice, for Skeptical outreach during our Fringe runs.
