The 1023 Campaign
6/2/19
The 1023 campaign was launched by Merseyside Skeptics Society to demonstrate that homoeopathy does not work. Initially organised in 2010 for cities all over the UK, they then ran the campaign again in 2011, managing to get participants in every continent on the earth - including a researcher in Antarctica.
The campaign arranged for skeptics to simultaneously "overdose" on homeopathic pills at public events thus inviting press and publicity.
Today is 8 years since the event and no deaths have been recorded as a result of the overdose.
