The Skeptic Zone

30/6/19

The Skeptic Zone is an Australian-based skeptical podcast produced by Richard Saunders, founder of the Australian Skeptics organisation. The roots of the show go back to internet radio. Saunders and his co-host Stefan Sojka had a segment of their show on Net.FM called "The Skeptic Tank" from 2001. This eventually became an online TV show and finally the audio podcast in 2008. The two are joined by a selection of reporters, contributing stories and ideas.

As well as covering news stories from across the skeptical and wider science scene the show also features interviews with subjects from many diverse fields, including debunkers, science communicators and authors. Saunders has also taken the show on the road with special episodes recorded at skeptical conferences.

The show celebrated its 500th episode last year and shows no sign of slowing down. It has become a firm favourite within the skeptical community and it’s definitely worth your time.
